Default trying to patch accessories cloned from the "thickrims" glasses
OK, a while back I had a problem where I was not able to make the female thickrim glasses FRAMES reflective: http://www.modthesims2.com/member/s...ad.php?t=211481

I didn't pursue it at the time, since it didn't bother me that much. However, since then, I've abandoned several different reflection-required projects because the accessory was cloned from the thickrim glasses.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it something I can edit in the recolor file? Or does it have to be fixed in the mesh?

Its very simple to add the envcube to the recolor and make the glasses kinda reflective.
You find some info here:http://www.insimenator.net/showthread.php?t=35743

im experimenting with the mirror's myself but altho i have created a mirrored floor(not with the envcube files, but the true mirror) i dont know how to apply it to a moving skeleton yet.
Pm me if you need help.

Oops, guess i didn't read it very well uh....srry
The reflectivity or....seems you used the lightning in yours to get them reflective is all in the material settings in your recolor.
Compare the working ones with the one that dont work?(material settings that is...)
