Default How do you Change the Sims 2 introduction Video
I really want to change my introduction video to match my new game theme. I was Just wondering if anyone can give me a step-by-step on this process. :werd:

Well yes you can it is very simple.

Open up Program Files/EA Games/TSData/Res/Movies and place your .movie (quicktime format) file in that folder and delete intro_eng_audio (save it somewhere else incase you ever want it back)

Then rename your .movie file intro_eng_audio
and thats that

Caz, . mov files are quickjtime format, .movie is EA MAX format. We cannot, to my knowledge, currently change the intro.

oops. your right. so there is no way to do it. A well.
But martellt you can change other stuff to suit your theme like the maxis screen and stuff here!

I haven't tried much in the way of substituting the video, but if anyone is annoyed by the logo screen & the video and tired of pressing space bar or clicking the mouse to bypass it, just rename both files to something other than "ealogo_Audio.movie" and "intro_eng_audio.movie". The result is a much faster loading TS2.

Ive already changed my startup screens my task bar and my logos The next step was the movies. I was really lking forward to changing it

This is a huge bump, but did anyone ever find out if the introduction video could be changed? I can't find a extension anywhere with .movie apart from QuickTime which is .mov.
