Default New High Chair Object is Not Recolorable Please Help
Hello,
I made a new highchair object for the sims 2 and it works except that the design mode and recolors are unavailable. I have made objects that pull textures from in game objects that work just fine before and I've made objects that have added subsets that again work just fine, both of which this object does. I've searched around the site and went through all the checklists and tutorials and everything seems to be in order. Hopefully it will just take another set of eyes to see the problem. I have attached the package file in question.
Please help if possible.

Change the tsMaterialMeshName to tsMaterialsMeshName. At the time that's the only thing I can see that's wrong - if that doesn't fix it I can take a closer look at it later on today.

Thank you that solved the problem with the linked textures but it's still not recognizing the new textures I made and have included in the package. Basically now the seat cushion is recolorable but the new frame subset is still only accepts the default color. I was wondering if maybe I need to add it to the list in tsMaterialsMeshName like with the linked textures. I was originally under the impression that textures that aren't linked from another mesh (in game or custom) don't need to be in that list, but now that's my only idea as to why it's still not working correctly.

Sorry, I just took a quick look earlier because I know that's one of the things that can cause recolors to not work/design tool to not be available - and somehow totally missed that you have a problem with the frame recolors.

Doing a "fix integrity" will link your frame textures up properly but before you do that, change one of your frame-blackbrown-dirty TXTRs to frame-yellow-clean (the one that actually IS frame-yellow-clean, just has the wrong TXTR name, lol). Everything should be fine then.

Hello,
Sorry bout not replying sooner I was struck with a sudden wave of dizziness after attempting to eat dinner and was in bed resting then fell asleep for the night.
Anyway, I changed those values and even temporarily took all but the default texture out of the package and it still doesn't recognize the new subset "frame" as recolorable. I'm going to try putting the frame subset into the tsMaterialsMeshName list (with the prefix of course) and see if that solves it. If not I'm starting to wonder if it's even possible to have a linked texture AND a new texture both recolorable in the same object.
Thank you for your help so far.

Okay I've got an update on the package. I decided to just remake the package from a new clone and it now works as intended. Never did figure out what was breaking the original but the new on works so I can accept that. I'm going to remove the package from the original post and mark this as solved. The highchair along with the rest of the addon set will be available on our blog in our signature once we deem it done.
Thank you for the help.

I hadn't put your file in my downloads folder, was just going by what I know. So in SimPE things were fine - doing what I suggested did link your textures up properly. (I like to think I know what I'm doing by this point, lol.) There may nave been a typo somewhere that I missed - typos don't show up, you need to actually see them to fix them. I dunno at this point but yay! You solved the problem in the end!

For future reference: if you DO need to relink textures like I said - if it's a multi state object (like this or a lamp) - doing a fix integrity MIGHT break the connection between the Material Names (in the text lists) and the BHAVs. It didn't in this case (I did check) but it it had I would've needed to fix that - which I probably would've needed to add the ##0x1C050000! back to the material names in the list.
