This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Sinks telling expansion packs
recently i went on a downloading streak for cc and they all seemed fine but when i start the game go in a household and place my mouse on a sink it starting to say "The sims 2 is intsalled", "bon voyage is installed" and so on idk whats is causing it but its really annyoing and i cant have sinks in my house

Did you use the Clean Installer to install all this new CC?

If not then you had a mod/hack piggy back into you game from one.

Strange. What exactly did you install, and what mods did you have already?

Are you sure you have the correct mod versions for your latest EP?
I use the sims as a psychology simulator...

I had this problem some years ago, it was most defiantly due to some cc that I had added. You may very well need to do a 50/50 search.
