My first download from you, and what is it? Not your magnificent buildings, but the 3x3 parking lot. (I work mostly with smaller lots, so this and the smallest size would be ideal, for the most part.)
Oops. But they are magnificent parking lots!
While I was creating my strip mall, my husband looked over my shoulder and commented that the total effect looked really good to him; very similar to the strip-mall stores near us. After many, many hours of my trying to get my stores to look the way I wanted, I found myself puffing a bit with pride. Then he commented. "But ...."
But?
"There are no parking lots near your stores!"
He was right there. When I looked at my strip mall again, I saw that indeed, it is odd that a strip mall has no parking! I looked around for a decorative parking lot. Unless your Criminal Sims are doing something ... untoward ... late at night, this isn't the kind of lot where your Sims would be hanging out for hours at a time. But alas ... no hood decor parking lots from reputable sites exist that I know of! (Well, there are deserted lots that look pretty desolate, but I wasn't exactly trying for a post-apocalyptic look here. Not too good for business and all that.) Good thing I checked your description before making it a community lot, though.Thank you for telling us why these are residential! ;)
These are actually much better than hood decor lots, I think. And these are one of those things that you don't think you need until you download them and think, "Well ... maybe I do!" I also like that they're nice and preshrunk for our convenience. Thank you!
