yeah i tried that with the Edward Cullen sim i downloaded earlier because i have a custom skin that sparkles so i swapped it for my own use :P.

personal question - i click on your profile and i see your part of the Tim Burton Films group! how do i join groups? - or do i have to be invited?
i was invited into Nintendorks, my only public group.

i love Tim Burtons work! i even based an human form art project around Jack Skellington and his figure. <3

argh i was so rushing to go install some man lipsticks into my game i didn't save. the second time i've lost him.
i got him back as good as i remember - and the lipsticks wern't even that good!
they didn't suit him at all.

ps. i dont know why the second one came out so dark, even after i installed that mod to make bodyshop brighter!
he looks evil.

pss. he's missing some makeup on these pics - i will add the pictures with the remaining manly makeups in the next update.

thanks nintendolover, i'm trying to get as much feedback as poss before i upload, im scared of a rejection :P

UPDATE:

i think the lipstick looks a bit too feminine so im going to look round for some man lipsticks. i have liek 2 but they're way to dark and one to red to match his skin tone. his lips are more natural pink.

i like him. you could recolour the lipstick. maybe it looks more pink when you play with the hue/saturation sliders (when you own photo shop, other programs have something like that, too)

i think the hair line kind of throws him off. ben stiller has more of a rounded hairline that isnt straight across.
otherwise, i would say he is almost ready!

i've tried making a hairlien in the past and failed!
does anyone reccomend where i can get hairlines from, there's none on the custom Content List and the only one that refers to as 'bangs' is unavailable.

the only hairline i have is this. again from the Edward Cullen sim - i wouldn't even know if i could include it in upload.
and it doesn't fit his head.

i'll check back tomorrow, i will find the time.
night all.

Hi Rosie, I would appreciate it if you would give me some feedback on my Barack Obama Sim.

Still think you need to make his lips a little less curvy. Good job.

he looks really good now, but i think he needs different hair, something not sticking up wildly in the air his face it great, but with the wrong hair you can make it seem like a different person

It's ok, we all laugh-snort occasionally!

um his eyebrows are straight from a pic, i'll try to adjust them with bosyshop. i don't know how it'll work being on the skin but i'll try

argh the hair D: i'll get some shots of several maxis hair and see what you think is best. seriously see my other stressfull comments about custom hair. i have ripped my hair out looking.

okay first - eyebrows. i made them 2 clicks thinner and turned them down a bit to make them look shorter. only by like 1 or 2 clicks though.

next hair -
1: he's got some kinda fringe going on although it does look long for him... i think that's from helga sims.

2: wolfcut. i think it was from sims artist union but that sites down.. can i still use it?

3: the other spiky maxis hair. more to the right side.

does anyone know where i can find a tutorial on how to make hairlines?
is it the same as eyebrows?

ACTUALLY---you know what makes it easy? If you clone the bigfoot mask, if you have bon voyage, then you can work with that space. Just remember to edit away the rest of the mesh of the face, hahaha. Don't want half hair line half big foot...or full face of hair line. LOL. That'd be funny, though. Hahaha. Anyway, I made a hairline using the bigfoot mask.

edit: But I have seen people using the eyebrows to make a hairline. I just use face mask, though. It makes it easier so you don't have to devote the eyebrows to the hairline, and you can use the hairline with a different sim if you want. Plus, if I remember correctly, the bigfoot mask is layerable as well. Which makes it even better, since there are tons of cool custom content items under the face masks.

i finally have some time to have a go at it! thanks for your advice SnowWhite. i haven't got big foot nor bon voyage but i'll have ago with another fullface mask. i've got a few hours to have a go and then i have to uninstall sims 2 to get my computer fixed, i should be back online on tuesday.

(i used that picture for the hairline)
i put a hairline on the skin because i just failed at the facemask method and recoloured the maxis hair. it's more brown and gray - black now. pretty similiar colour to the hairline.
if there is anyway to fix that stupid gap please tell meeeee its so annoying and i dont know what to do about it.

is there no way to get rid of that line inbetween his hair and the face?
maybe something to do with an alpha - by teh way i have no clue on how to make. i tried painting over a hairline i already have but it wouldn't show on bodyshop and when i changed the alpha it mistys up the eyes and some of his face :l

oh and does anyone think i should make his jaw wider?
his face looks very small - i dont know if thats to do with zooom

Edit his scalp. That one skintone file that's just plain bucketfill. It's not an alpha.

For that you're going to have to edit the hair mesh. Gotta expand it some how and don't forget to place a texture in the new expanded area in your texture file.

As far as the face goes...I don't think it needs to be wider, but I'm not sure. It does look like maybe his cheekbones need to come up a few clicks, though. Lookin' good. :O

ditch that freaking hairline. it looks god-awful, i'm sorry but it's the truth. trust me, i've been through worse looking for hair meshes.

I no longer make sims, if you wish to contact me through this site it is highly unlikely that you will receive a reply.
