I'm not good at using brushes. When I watercolour, I tend to need to use ink and maybe colour pencils to finnish it. That really makes mine not count I guess.

Where does the pain come?

I really like the contrast and the fluid-ness of it. Everything has good depth and I like the light as it comes over the buildings. But the broad circle around the tree in the foreground kind of stands out more than anything and it draws the eye to it. The tree itself is lovely but the bold line throws it off a bit for me. It all is very fluid but that line seems more pronounced than the rest. I truly do like your painting and hope the critique doesn't upset you.

See i have no choice but be isolated
Threatened
Forced to extract the heart
Pushed aside
Made segregated
Struggling
Left alone
Apart...

Watercolour. (and felt tips, sorry, I'm a multi medium person, it's still sort of a paint right?)
This was done on my heavy duty paper, AKA, I had to use my camera. I hate big un-scan-able paper. grrrr

My watercolour fail:

Don't you wanna fly so high above the clouds and trees,
Learn a thing from birds and bees ,
See the morning rise over the ocean up ahead?

Hey, it's not so bad, water colour is a pain. Doing realistic stuff must be twice as painful. Really, you're being too hard on yourself. I WISH i could do realistic WC. I can barely do realistic graphite drawings.

It is a pain, really. I had to redo some parts so many times I was afraid I would make a hole in the paper. But it's really rewarding, I intend to start painting again soon. Hopefully I'll get better with practice.
