Can you attach the graphics rules from your Store Edition folder.

well no, it doesnt seem to let me upload a notepad file but. also im assuming the store edition thats in the fun with pets collection is the one i should be editing although the ep99 also exists within the university collection and best of business collection. also in all the res folders theres both config folders and CSConfig idk the difference between them. but like i said i have done the same edits to ALL the graphics rules because nothing has worked so...idk wtf is going on. the weirdest thing is that i had none of these problems before i had to wipe my computer, i mean i had the same disks and stuff and with that i think i had just edited the graphics rules and was done with it. im just very confused now but whatever, i used the GraphicsRules-Nvidia-Max1920 file, applied the 4 gb patch and copied the large screen resolution to the small resolution. nothing is working

heres what it says:

If the log you've listed on the previous page is accurate, it's not reading your Graphics Rules.sgr, because it still says texture memory of 32. The only version you should have to edit is from the latest EP as that is what is loaded last. So the Store Edition folder version. Maybe double check the file format? It should be Graphics Rules.sgr, make sure the extension is .sgr as it might try to default to .txt after editing.

and maybe add line
Code:
card 0x1402 "GeForce GTX 950"

in the "Nvidia" section of the 'Video Cards.sgr' file (I already put your GPU identifier there so it's just CTRL+C->CTRL+V)

im wondering if theres somthing i might have accidentally downloaded that overwrote the settings so that its ignoring the graphics rules. is that possible?

3 months later and i still cant get this to work, its as if the game isn't listening to the graphics rules at all. i tried completely uninstalling all of them and wiping any trace of the games and reinstalling just the sims 2 deluxe. i altered the resolution in graphics rules and seti Low , seti Medium, and seti High. still opening the game and only one resolution option shows up at all. the window mode remains the minimum and i cannot get it any larger, nothing seems to change no matter what i do.
