Default Questions about adjusting accessories...
-How to disable age groups in accessories.

-How to enable the accessory so it can be applied with others at the
same time.

Thanks, I've tried many different searches, I'm coming up empty handed.

If someone could post a link to the thread if there is one, I'd appreciate it.

This is a creation question. Moving to Bodyshop-Meshing.

Please do not PM me with Game or Site Help questions. Post them in the appropriate section after going through the FAQs.

http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?p=1109373 ... "Waterproofing" (didn't ask for it but we're on the subject).

http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?p=1121621 ... Multi-wearability.

There's also a tutorial with pics on making makeup multi-wearable here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=173232 ... that's a bit more in-depth in terms of helping you get a random hex value in there. Where it says "Texture Overlay XML" you'll look at the Mesh Overlay XML resources. Otherwise, should be the same.

Removing unwanted ages from an accessory will fairly similar to removing the other ages for hair: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=89652 ... the resources in a hair and accessory are slightly different, in that instead of calling it a Property Set as shown in that tutorial, it'll be called a Mesh Overlay XML. Should be able to follow the rest of the tutorial as-written with that in mind and accomplish it just fine. With that, and all the options-setting stuff, make sure you back up your original files so you can restore them in case you mess up somewhere.
