Default How do I get to the game to generate good looking sims without me having to create new ones?
If there's one thing I don't like about this game it's how ugly the sims seem to be. I'm not talking too much about the sims I create or the ones that you download online because i'm sure that they look miles better then the ones that the game generates or the sims that EA made. I looked on The Sims Medieval section and seen these threads http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=601917 http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=557138 and http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=549883 and I wonder why the sims look way better in that game then on here when they're almost the same game while I get sims like these https://i.imgur.com/LruYzVd.jpg https://i.imgur.com/XXcwKXi.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Du2IlTz.jpg. To be fair the one in the middle doesn't look that bad in my opinion which is the one that the game generated as a newpaper npc which the game named Dede but I renamed Denise and Bunny Curious made friends with her and she moved in with her when they grew up into teens. Bunny Curious the one on the right doesn't look that bad if you drag her nose down to the middle and I assume that she got her face from the dad but the mom looked horrendous and that's only one of the examples and most of them are in Sunset Valley.

1: Dee Liver and Bunny Curious start up as children, most of the premade children stop looking cute when they turn teen.
2: Twinbrook in general is full of ugly sims. If you want only pretty townies, go for a store or custom world.
3: Get some default replacement eyes and skin, as well as the s club eyelashes.

I used to have them but I forgot to erase GTA 5 off my old hard drive when the space was nearly full so it only stored part of the data but it's really not that big of a deal and what's wrong with the ones that I have?

Nothing, each default replacement may just be more or less flattering to different sims. Which they often are.

I actually agree when I looked at the pictures again the skin and especially the eyes look too plain and lacks detail. Since the game crashed on me again I might as well make my rounds and download some good default replacements to get rid of the ugly EA ones. Do you know any good websites to download them from?

Here, of course. MTS has a neat collection of default (and non-default) skintones. I would also suggest to check out burntwaffels. I keep returning to using Wild Blue as a DR.

Nraas storyprogression, and I think awesomemod have options for generating unique townies. SP is based on the simbin and idk about awesome since I never used it. For defaults I like brntwaffle's yumedust eyes and tifa's default V8 skin.

All in all I think sims start to look decent once you put some makeup on them... just like in real life xD

If you're looking to make all sims look better, definitely try a default replacement skin. I favor Kurasoberina's Primer which is available on their tumblr along with a lot of other great content to make your sims look good: http://kurasoberina.tumblr.com/tagged/downloads
