Just a amazing Kitchen!
the only misfortune I had is that the package files show conflict on the dashboard! But it works very well!

Hey, dashboard shows things as conflicting when they just use a common resource so it's almost always safe to ignore it when it comes to objects. The game will load only one copy of that resource anyway, even if there's a number of it. Problems with conflicting files arise when it comes to mods/overrides/default replacements that alter the same resource at the same time. You can read more about dashboard and false positives here if you're interested. And thank you

This is so beautiful! But I can't seem to use it! Whenever I try to unzip this (I've tried multiple downloads), I get "failed to open archive...the file is corrupted or file format is unsupported." I don't have this issue with other MTS items I've tried before or since, and I have a ton of other CC that all works as intended - I've never encountered this error with any of it, which seems to suggest it is something with this particular file. Any ideas? Thanks so much for still creating for The Sims 3!

Hmm, I had no problem extracting it, even redownloaded it from here to check again, very bizarre Has anyone else had any troubles with the rar? The issue might be with your program, maybe try redownloading/reinstalling or try 7-zip, it's free. I used WinRAR to archive it, and then tried both that and 7-zip to extract it and both worked. If that doesn't work for you either, pm me and I can send you just the files

Sorry, but disappointing again. The counters are great but the cook top malfunctions. My sims uses the counter it is sitting on as oven, lol, and places the finished products on the cook top as if it were the counter.

Hello, sorry to hear you're having issues, however the part where the sims will use an imaginary stove part has been clearly put it the description so you'd know what you're getting. The object is still a fully functioning stove, jje1000 was at one point working on trying to disable the oven recipes on a similar object but it was never resolved as far as I know and I'm not sure how feasible it is all within the limitations of the game.

Now sims would be able to cook on it and use the slot of the counter underneath to put down and pick up things. Keep in mind that making a recipe that requires the oven part will lead to sims opening an imaginary door and sticking a pan through the counter. This doesn't affect the cooking process whatsoever.

The above part of the info also addresses your other issue - the stovetop object has no footprint technically so the counter space right underneath it is still considered free by the game. Sims will choose the closest possible option when putting their cooked meals down so they'll naturally go for that one. If it's the visuals that bother you, you can always drag it one counter space to the side; as far as functionality goes it won't block them from cooking again even if there's a plate there. Personally I find it useful in tiny kitchens with limited counter space.
