"Café Petite, the historic coffee shop on High Street, will be demolished in two weeks. The owners said "enough" and the landmark, which has seen better days, is now waiting for the day of its demolition. The owners also plan to build a modern restaurant where the building used to be." - SimCity News

Lily Smith, an inhabitant of SimCity, and one of the last customers of the place, could not allow that. So, she bought the place. Her husband is a City Planner, so he helped her with rebuilding the place.
"Lily, this entrance needs to be changed. I mean, it's pretty, but clearly doesn't attract customers", he said." Also, instead of a roof, why not a terrace?"

"Next, let's go inside. Why don't you add a real restaurant stove, and instead of Café Petite, you can call it Restaurant Petite. Also, all this chic furniture is nice, but... well, it has to go. I'm sure you can find stylish, modern furniture."
"But the piano stays", said Lily.
"I don't think so. Use speakers and play classical music if you want."
"The piano stays. And that's FINAL."

"Finally, this. I don't know what to do with this room. If you're adding the stove, we will have to knock down some walls. We can keep the desk, if you want, and add a sofa and a bookcase. That's it."
"OK. I think were done. Don't forget to submit your floor plan by Tuesday. Love you!"

Enough storytelling. This lot is a makeover of Maxis' Café Petite. I already loved the original lot, it looks so pretty. But it wouldn't fit in my modern desert hood. So, this was born. I changed a lot in the facade, but I tried to keep as many elements of the original building as possible, even if in different colours/objetcs. The inside is similar to the original lot, but more "modern".
Hope you like it!
