This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
UPDATE UPDATE
As some of have noticed there are some problems with windows if you install latest patch.
I managed to fix all but diagonal windows and added new archive in download section named "FIX"
I'll do my best to fix diagonal windows too.
UPDATE UPDATE

It's been awhile since i uploaded something, but i have good reason.
Last month i was working on this set. The main culprit is tomvanroosmalen, he asked me to make him few windows for a house he was working on, a few windows turned out to be exactly 43 different window pieces.

ABOUT THE SET:

Set is consisted of 44 different pieces.
there are:
11 normal (single tile) windows
16 modular windows*
16 diagonal modular windows**
single 45° window for under roofs(under normal windows in download section)
all windows costs 250§
windows have one recolorable channel

*modular windows are made of side and middle part, they can be used as multi-tile windows.
** since the tile of diagonal wall is bigger then straight one i had to make diagonal modular windows because normal modular windows are too short.

all files are in .package file format, i can upload files in .sims3pack if there will be need for that.

I hope my windows will find a place in your sims home.
Enyoj!!

FIX.rar | Description: windows fix , works only with 1.26 and above 1.31 MB 79,536 28th Oct 2010
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I have these in my game and haven't really had trouble - but I've not tried using the 45 degree yet (most roofs I decline). BUT, I did finally get Dashboard to work and these windows are showing up as conflicting...and the conflicting file is in the DCBackup. Is this a problem? They are the only objects doing this.

Thanks!

Love your gorgeous windows and use them very often.

Today have installed the newest patch (released just before EP3).
My current house has one of the windows and it is acting strange. The frame looks normal, but the glass is not visible.Same thing with all windows of the same set.

I didn't yet make many tests, but noticed that some windows from other creators have the same issue, even if most windows in my catalogs are working fine.

Don't know if its only in my game,or if other fellow simmers are experiencing the same problem.

Thanks so much,Hudy.Sorry for all this trouble !
Not all windows in your set have this issue. Some are working fine.Besides the issue may be only in my game and it could be caused by some conflicting files.

Feel so disappointed, because I can't enjoy the game as much without your windows.

A big hug.

I have the same problem with the windows.. i can see window's frame but where the glass goes, i can just see the wall..
I red in some forum that this patch has some problems with the (non-official custom content) windows..
I'm feeling so bad because I used this windows in EVERY house i made.. so it's awfull having to change the windows..
Also, I LOVE YOUR WINDOWS!!
I was thinking if u could do some doors that goes with this windows, because the ones in the game are pretty different..

I am having problems with several windows, from Hudy, Technodrome, HugeLunatic and a couple of windows from other creators. Most of them are MTS creators and this causes crashing with some windows and with others, I can't see through them as mentioned above. They are all single tile shorter windows, I believe they are all counter height so I wonder if they were all cloned from the same window which now won't work with the patch. I have only one sims3pack that has a problem...all the others are package files. Only one is from TSR...all the other TSR windows seem to work. I am going to have to delete all my custom windows that are counter height and see if that helps although some of them are not labeled as such so not sure. Anyway, hope you can pass this on so others realize its not just your windows.

Hudy, could you share the problem because there are a lot of windows that are not working and some that even crash the games. We started a post here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthre...d=1#post3352801

Some folks do not see the problem while others do so its difficult for creators to fix something they can't see. If they know what you did, they might be able to look at their own stuff.

Thank you!!!

Hudy, hope that you'll not be mad at me !
Just for my own game,(at home, very often late in the night...) I use to convert packages to sims3packs when its possible.I don't change anything and I keep the exact name etc... Please, please, dont take it as a lack of respect.

Its just because I prefer sims3packs,even if the launcher is full of bugs.

Well, I tried to convert your fixed windows,it seemed to work fine, but after "exporting to sims3pack" I just didn't get a sim3pack.

Please, could you tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thanks in advance for your help and (hopefully) for not blaming me !

A big hug !

Thank you for these versatile windows, they are, without a doubt, one of my favorites.
About the diagonal situation~the other day while placing your windows, one of them flipped to diagonal on it's own, going around the house I was working on. I hadn't really realized it had 'placed' until I finished the wall. The window seemed to be working fine. I tried a couple others, and they seemed to work as well. It appears the game{if I'm not mistaken}is automatically making the windows diagonals.
>>> I would recommend anyone wanting to try this save & backup your game just in case.
But it appears that these windows are working on the diagonal walls.

Tip&Trick for windows of sinking in the walls:
(until the creator resolves this problem permanently)
After placing the window on the wall if it sinks into the wall;
"CTRL+Z" (Undo), and then "CTRL+Y" (Redo).

P.S.: In some cases this might not work!.. e.g.; really bad/buggy/etc. creations are used.
