I've made my own font before, and it's no small task, so I really appreciate the time it must have taken you to create this.

Thank you so much; this is exactly what I was looking for.

good work! I tried to read the "sentence" in the Immajer-simlisk True Type file and it came out like this: Cantami o diva del Pelide Achille l'ira funesta. Was it just a case that you chose Virgilio's poem in iItalian?

Place the .ttf file in C:\Windows\Fonts.

Just to clarify, unzip the file to a new folder (or your desktop) right click on the .ttf file and copy. Then open C:\WINDOWS\Fonts Right click again and paste. That was how I had to do it, anyway. This is on a Vista platform, not sure how it works for anyone else.

This font works great, even if the creator hasn't been here for awhile. I use Vista. I extracted the .ttf in the download folder, opened Computer>C:>Windows>Fonts, then File>Install New Font. The program found it right away, and I hit install. Had to give permission, but then it was all set. Can find it in various programs. Perfect for my uses!

Much better than the older Sims 2 versions of Simlish because it actually doesn't look like English. When you can read exactly what the text says at a glance, it might as well just be English anyway. Now we have a real obfuscated language where we either have to decode it or just accept that it's not meant to be read in the first place and is intended as an international text Macguffin.

If you ever come back and read this, thank you much.

I have tried to make own font before, but given up after a few letters because it is a lot of work. I was thinking of making my own simlish font, but I am happy that I do not need to.

Thank you, inkandchaos, wherever you are!

I just used this to translate the Sims 4 promo ad, and all I got was this Wikipedia entry!

Yes, I honestly killed an afternoon by translating the ad page from Simlish, then realizing it was Latin, ran it through Google Translate, and a friend told me about lorem ipsum, placeholder text. D'oh!

I know this may not be the only Simlish font online, but I'm glad you took the time to do what I'm perhaps too lazy or impatient to do and create one and made it easy for me to find and download. I kinda wish you had included numbers, although I'm pretty sure that most Simlish fonts use Arabic numbers anyway. My only concern is that I might have to switch fonts when I want to type a number, assuming that nothing shows up otherwise. I haven't tried it yet, so I guess I'll find out. Either way, thanks for your effort and creativity! It looks amazing!
